Snow Headed To Union County: How Much? When Will It Begin?

UNION COUNTY, NJ — Snow is expected to fall across New Jersey and Somerset County on Monday. Check out the latest forecast from the National Weather Service as of Monday morning.

Light snow is expected to fall beginning around 9 a.m. The main portion of snow will fall through 4 p.m.

Total snowfall amounts for Union County are predicted to be between 1 and 2 inches. There is a 100 percent chance of precipitation.

Monday will bring temperatures of a high near 32 with a northwest wind around 5 mph becoming north in the afternoon.

On Monday night, residents can expect a chance of snow before 7 p.m. It will be cloudy, then gradually clear toward daybreak, with a low around 17.

A northwest wind of 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph is predicted. A chance of precipitation is 30 percent with new snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 30. Wind chill values between 10 and 20. Northwest wind 11 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 38 mph.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 21. Wind chill values between 10 and 15. Northwest wind 10 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 28. Northwest wind 11 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 17.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 30. Blustery.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 23.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 36.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 24.
