Warrant Arrests, Fraud, Theft Reported In Westfield
Westfield Police released its blotter for the past week.
WESTFIELD, NJ — Warrant arrests, theft, and fraud were reported in the latest Westfield Police blotter.
Westfield Police Blotter – June 15 to June 21:
On June 15 at 8:03 a.m.: Deltra Brown, 41, of New York, NY, was arrested at the Wayne Township Police Department on an outstanding Westfield Municipal Court Criminal Warrant with a bail set at $1,000. Brown was processed and subsequently taken to the Union County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.

On June 16 at 9:55 p.m.: Frederick Martiniez, 20, of Elizabeth, was arrested for an outstanding $500 ATS warrant issued by the Roselle Municipal Court during a traffic stop in the area of Central Avenue and Park Street. He was released on his own recognizance roadside with a new mandatory court date.
On June 17 at 11:09 a.m.: A business located in the 800 block of West South Avenue reported being the victim of fraud. According to the victim, four checks, totaling $27,676, were fraudulently deposited into unauthorized accounts.

On June 18 at 1:48 a.m.: A resident of the 1100 block of Boynton Avenue reports a theft of a picture frame valued at $25 from within the residence.
On June 18 at 10 a.m.: A resident in the 700 block of St. Marks Avenue responded to Westfield Police Headquarters to report being a victim of fraud. The resident stated that they made a reservation on a summer rental website for $2,106. The resident later revealed that this was a fraudulent website and that they are currently at a monetary loss.
On June 18 at 2:32 p.m.: A resident of the 800 Block of Shadowlawn Drive reported being the victim of theft. The resident reported that at an unknown time between 8:30 p.m. on June 17 and 2 p.m. on June 18, around $2,000 in cash was taken from her purse in her home. There were no indicators of burglary.
On June 19 at 4:22 p.m.: Julio Zambranobosmedian, 38, of Plainfield, was placed under arrest during a motor vehicle stop on West South Avenue. The warrant was issued due to a Detective Bureau investigation, resulting in a terroristic threats charge. The subject was taken to the Union County Jail after processing.
On June 19 at 8:25 p.m.: A victim of the 500 block of Cumberland Street reported fraud. They said they sent around $1,119 via a digital payment service for a service that was not rendered.
