Wellness Walk With Westfield Mayor To Be Held In Tamaques Park

Westfield residents are invited to take a stroll with Mayor Brindle and Police Chief Battiloro on Thursday, July 28.

WESTFIELD, NJ — For Westfield residents looking to learn more about happenings in town, or who just want to take a leisurely stroll, the town is hosting a Wellness Walk in Tamaques Park this week.

Residents can walk alongside Mayor Shelley Brindle and Police Chief Christopher Battiloro in the park on Thursday, July 28 at 6 p.m.

In her most recent update, Brindle said residents are welcome to enjoy an evening in the park while discussing questions and concerns about Westfield.

The Wellness Walk is part of the Mayors Wellness Campaign, which is a statewide public health education initiative. You can learn more about the campaign here.

Amy Lewis in the Health Department and resident volunteer Tony Bianchino serve as Westfield's liaisons in the campaign, according to Brindle.

The walk will take place near the tennis courts in Tamaques Park on 1101 Lamberts Mill Road.
