The group has been particularly vocal about their opposition to the One Westfield Place project and launched petition that now has 1,880 signatures. The petition asks that the council rethink the One Westfield Place proposal, as Advocates believe it is "too big" in scope and size and will increase traffic in the town.

Leaders of Westfield Advocates said the rally is a chance to gather with fellow residents and update them on significant concerns they have with the development in its current form, as well as "the lack of collaboration from elected officials."
The group will also unveil their alternative idea for the development that they will eventually present to Town Council.
"EVERYONE PLEASE SHOW UP AND STAND UP TOGETHER," the group states on its change.org page about the rally.
The rally will take place rain or shine.
