Westfield Awarded Silver Certification At Sustainable NJ Luncheon

Westfield is one of 24 towns awarded at the silver level.

WESTFIELD, NJ — Westfield won a silver certification from the Sustainable Jersey Annual Luncheon earlier this month. This is the second consecutive year that the town has earned a silver certification.

Westfield is one of 24 towns awarded at this level, further exemplifying the Town's ongoing commitment to sustainable practices.

To become Sustainable Jersey certified at the silver-level, the town submitted documentation to show it had completed a balance of the required sustainability actions, meeting a minimum of 350 action points, and highlighting new initiatives such as the Alternative Energy Fair, a green business recognition program, and a partnership between the Public Works Department and American Green Zone Alliance.
