Westfield Girls Softball Registration Is Open For Spring Season

WESTFIELD, NJ — With spring sports starting in just a few months, registration is open to those who are interested in signing up their kids for softball in Westfield.

Registration for Westfield Girls Softball opened Jan. 14 for the Spring 2022 In-Town Recreational Softball League and the Spring 2022 Travel Softball League.

All players currently living in Westfield or enrolled in grades K-8 in Westfield schools are eligible for the In-Town Recreational League. Eligibility for the Travel League requires In-Town registration, and players must have birthdays between 2008 to 2014.

The softball season is expected to run from around April 18 to June 18.

The registration period ends on March 1. A $25 late fee is assessed for all registrations completed after that date.

The league is also seeking sponsorships for all In-Town teams. These sponsorships range from $250 to $700 and involve having the sponsor's name on a team jersey, field banners at Memorial Park and email/social media marketing.
