Westfield HS Students Achieve Perfect SAT, ACT Scores

Local high school students got perfect scores on tests widely used for college admission criteria.

Four students from Westfield High School were recently informed they achieved perfect scores on the SAT and ACT standardized tests.

The four 11th grade students achieved perfect scores in March 2015. The SAT and ACT standardized tests are both widely used for college admission criteria.

The students who achieved the perfect scores and include Erik Swanson, math; Sarah Steiner, reading; Emma Stierhoff, math; and Sidharth Eleswarapu, writing.

“I would like to commend you for this outstanding achievement;” Westfield High School Principal Peter Renwick said, “it speaks volumes about your abilities and your commitment to your education.”

The four students brings the total for perfect scores so far this school year to 34, according to officials from Westfield Public Schools.
