Westfield Is Looking For Volunteers For Boards and Commissions
Westfield has opened its 2022 call for volunteers to fill anticipated openings in its boards, commissions and Mayor's advisory councils.
WESTFIELD, NJ — Westfield is encouraging residents to get involved and volunteer for openings in its boards, commissions and Mayor’s advisory councils.
Westfield opened applications on Monday. Residents can visit westfieldnj.gov/volunteer to review full descriptions of each group and submit an application for their areas of interest.
“This is our fourth consecutive year placing the Town’s call for volunteers online, allowing for broad community access to information about the open appointments,” said Mayor Shelley Brindle. “As I approach my second term in office, I continue to be impressed by the vast talent and eagerness to volunteer among our residents. These are tremendous assets to Westfield, and I, along with the Town Council, remain grateful to all those who step up to devote their time and energy to benefit us all.”
