Westfield Mayor Shelley Brindle Wins 2022 Mayor Of The Year Award
Brindle received the award from the Gateway Regional Chamber of Commerce at their Annual Mayors Dinner last week.
WESTFIELD, NJ — Mayor Shelley Brindle was awarded 2022 Mayor of the Year by the Gateway Regional Chamber of Commerce at their Annual Mayors Dinner last week, according to the town's announcement on Facebook.
The 32nd Annual Mayors Dinner was held on May 19. The Gateway Chamber is the largest business association in the New York Metropolitan Area with about 1,200 members, operating in Union, Essex, Middlesex and Somerset Counties, making it the only multi-county association in Northern and Central New Jersey.
The Gateway Chamber helps members grow their businesses and make contacts and connections in their industries.

At the dinner, the Gateway gave out honors for, Mayor of the Year, Business Administrator of the Year, Economic Development Director of the Year and Best Speaker.
Brindle tweeted about the recognition on Thursday: "Thx u Gateway Regional Chamber of Commerce! Fortunate to represent a community that shows up day in/day out for our biz. #westfieldnj #communityoftheyear"
