Westfield Mayor Speaks Out About 'The Watcher'

The recent media attention surrounding "The Watcher" was addressed by Mayor Andy Skibitsky at Tuesday night's town council meeting.

The recent media attention surrounding ”The Watcher,” an alleged stalker who sent threatening letters to the new owners of a $1.3 million Westfield home last year, was addressed by Mayor Andy Skibitsky at Tuesday night’s town council meeting.

“Our police department conducted an exhaustive investigation based on the factual circumstances and evidence available,” Mayor Skibitsky said, according to CBS Local.

The mayor also stated although the incident happened in 2014, the matter was recently brought to the public’s attention due to a recent civil lawsuit filed by the new homeowners asking for compensation from the previous homeowners.
