I am a parishioner of St. Helen's Church in Westfield where he is pastor.

Msgr. Nydegger has been pastor of St. Helen's in Westfield since July 2020.
Why do you believe the community leader should be recognized or honored?
Msgr. Nydegger has an enthusiastic spirit which has created a vibrant Roman Catholic community at St. Helen's that is unique in its structure in New Jersey and throughout the United States.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the community hero?
He is a great storyteller that helps attract people to the Catholic Church with his messages in mass or in other parish activities. He is dedicated, knowledgeable, incredibly hard working and has the “spirit of St. Helen's” in his bones.
