Westfield Runners To Race In 2023 Boston Marathon

WESTFIELD, NJ — Westfield runners will be lining up on Monday along with nearly 30,000 others to tackle one of the most iconic and notable road races — the 2023 127th Boston Marathon on April 17.
The Boston Marathon takes place each year on Patriots' Day — a Massachusetts holiday commemorating the opening battles of the American Revolutionary War. The day begins with military marchers at 6 a.m., with several waves of athletes beginning the race in Hopkinton throughout the morning.

- Follow along on the B.A.A. website, which will change April 17 to allow people to track runners on race day.

How to Watch:
- ESPN will broadcast the 127th Boston Marathon, scheduled to take place on Monday, April 17, on its flagship channel from 8:30 a.m. ET until 1 p.m. ET.
- In addition, ESPN will also have coverage of the race within SportsCenter before the live coverage and later in the day, as well as coverage appearing on other ESPN shows and platforms.
