Westfield Updates Parking Fees: See The Changes
The Town is in the middle of migrating to a new parking system.
WESTFIELD, NJ — The Town of Westfield has approved a new parking fee structure for designated commuter parking areas around the community.
On Nov. 25, Town Council unanimously approved General Ordinance 2025-20 which replaces a portion of the Town Code dealing with both half-year and full-year permits.
This includes Lot 3, Lot 8, and any other areas labeled for commuters and goes into effect on Monday.

A six-month permit will cost $460 and a 12-month period will cost $776. The payment must be paid in advance to the Town.
The Parking Division of Westfield Police will then issue a permit which shall serve as proof of payment that allows the driver to only park in the designated lot.

Commuters to Lot 6 can secure a six-month tag for $240 and a 12-month tag for $480.
An online digital database will store a copy of the permit and the plate numbers that correspond with the vehicle that is registered with the Town.
All permits not renewed will be forfeited automatically.
This adjustment is the latest in a number of adjustments that began this fall with daily parking permits moving from in-person to online only.
