Westfield Weather: What Time Temperatures Will Peak At 89 Degrees

The NWS said there may be an increased risk for growth and spread of any fires that may develop today.

The thermometers in Westfield will be climbing into the upper-80s this afternoon, but when can you expect the temperature to peak today? Patch has you covered.

A slight chance of thunderstorms is predicted after 1 p.m. on Tuesday. Mostly sunny skies are predicted and temperatures expected to reach as high as 89 degrees, with winds between 14 and 17 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

Tonight, the temperature is expected to dip down to about 55 degrees, with winds between 10 and 15 mph.

Temperatures will cool down a bit Wednesday, as the high is expected to be near 67 during the day and a low near 43 on Wednesday night.

Despite no snow anywhere in the foreseeable future, with the warm weather comes other hazards. The NWS issued a special weather statement claiming, “West-southwest winds will gust up to around 25 mph while relative humidities fall to around 30 percent late this afternoon. This will increase the risk for growth and spread of any fires that develop.”
