WHS Choir and Band Raise Over $5.5K From Christmas Tree Fundraiser
The students picked up more than 370 trees during their annual fundraiser.

The Westfield High School Choir and Band raised more than $5,500 during their annual Christmas Tree Pick-up Fundraiser on Jan. 11.
The students were able to collect more than 370 trees at a donation of $15 each on the 11th, after the fundraiser was postponed due to snow.
Students and parent volunteers traveled in about 20 vehicles under the leadership of Choir President and Vice President, Cathy Bruno and Fraser Weist and Band President and Vice President, David Gruskin and Philip Chapel, in order to pick-up the trees.
The funds raised will go towards scholarships, choir trips and band trips.
The Choir and Band also thanked the Westfield Conservation Center and the Department of Public Works for their accommodation, the Villane family and the DiFabio family and M&R Landscape & Design for the loan and operation of dump truck.
