Woman With Stun Gun Taser + Drugs Arrested In Westfield: Police

The 35-year-old from Fanwood was found in possession of suspected crack cocaine, heroin and a stun gun taser in Westfield, police said.

WESTFIELD, NJ — A Fanwood woman was arrested in Westfield on Friday, July 22 after police discovered illegal drugs and a "stun gun" taser on her, according to the Westfield Police blotter.

Brittany Skrocki, 35, of Fanwood was found to have an outstanding warrant out of the Union County Sheriffs Department and was found in possession of suspected crack cocaine, heroin and a stun gun taser, which is illegal to carry in New Jersey, according to police.

A resident of Breeze Knoll Drive alerted Westfield Police Friday morning of a woman who appeared to be unsteady on her feet, dropping many items while walking. When officers arrived to perform a welfare check, the woman gave false information.

Through further investigation, officers were able to identify Skrocki. She then attempted to flee the scene on foot, but officers quickly caught and arrested her, police said.

Skrocki was sent to the Westfield Police Department where she was charged. Police said she has a pending Union County Superior Court Date for all Westfield-related charges.

The Union County Sheriff's Department also took custody of Skrocki for processing on their warrant, police said.
