Women's Club of Westfield Sponsoring Fundraiser Supporting Mental Illness

The Women’s Club of Westfield is hosting a fundraising event in benefit of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of New Jersey later this month.
The fundraising event will take place on Saturday, May 16, at 7 p.m. at The Crossroads at 78 North Ave. in Garwood. The event aims to better the lives of those affected by mental illness in New Jersey while providing an evening of entertainment, according to a report from NJ.com.
The event will feature live music, including a performance from local folk/bluegrass band “Little Secret”, with Dan Ortolani, Ellen Pluta, Sarah McEwan Riffel and Justin Schack, and improv comedy group Nutty by Nature, the report from NJ.com said. Emma Schwartz,director of Fundraising for the Woman’s Club of Westfield, and the founder of Westfield production company Momenti Productions, is producing the event.

Cost of admission to the fundraising event is $25 and includes a complimentary beverage.
