The following events are happening this week in Westfield.
Flowers in our Culture: Photographer Art Carlson will share photographs of his travels to members of the Garden Club of Westfield. He will also bring his book, “Why Everyone Needs a Front Porch-Musings of Traveler.” The event will take place on Tuesday at 12 p.m.
Mediation and Wine Tasting: Visit Harmony Mediation Center on Friday at 7 p.m. for a night of mediation and wine tasting.
Get in Shape for Women Open House: On Saturday at 10 a.m., Get in Shape for Women of Westfield will host an open house for prospective members. The studio specializes in small personal training that focuses on weight training, nutrition, cardio and accountability. The studio is offering a half price deal that ends on Jan. 18. Woody Allen Discussion: The Westfield Memorial Library presents a discussion on Woody Allen and The Art of Infidelity. The event will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. To register, visit the library’s website at www.wmlnj.org and click on the Online Calendar or call908.789.4090 ext 0.
Peter Ambush Artist presentation: The Westfield Art Association is hosting a demonstration of art done by duCret artist, Peter Ambush. The presentation will be held on Jan. 19 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Westfield Municipal Building.
