7 West Orange Police Officers Promoted, New Chief Sworn-In

The ceremony saw the swearing-in of West Orange's new police chief, Matthew Feula. Seven local officers received promotions.

WEST ORANGE, NJ — West Orange’s new police chief was sworn in and several officers earned promotions during a recent ceremony at Rock Spring Golf Club.

The Dec. 5 ceremony marked the swearing-in of West Orange’s new police chief, Matthew Feula.

In addition, several local police officers received promotions at the ceremony. The list includes:

  • Kevin Dalgauer from Police Captain to Deputy Chief of Police
  • Robert O'Toole from Police Lieutenant to Police Captain
  • William Sayers from Police Lieutenant to Police Captain
  • James Cullen from Police Sergeant to Police Lieutenant
  • Jason Padilla from Police Sergeant to Police Lieutenant
  • Patrick Hanson from Police Officer to Police Sergeant
  • Michael Polizzano from Police Officer to Police Sergeant
