West Orange Comes Together For Menorah Lighting At Town Hall
An annual Hanukkah event once again brought together neighbors in West Orange.
WEST ORANGE, NJ — An annual menorah lighting event once again brought together neighbors in West Orange on Monday.
The Hanukkah celebration took place in front of Town Hall. The event – which celebrates the Festival of Lights – is led each year by Rabbi Mendy Kasowitz from Chabad of West Orange.
In his remarks, Kasowitz underscored the importance of being vigilant in troubling times, referencing a terror attack that killed at least 15 people in Australia last weekend. See Related: Hanukkah Attack In Australia Prompts Increased Security In NJ
