‘Back To School’ Event In East Orange Will Have Free Giveaways, Fun

EAST ORANGE, NJ — A “back to school” resource fair in East Orange will include free giveaways, haircuts, food trucks, entertainment and more, organizers say.

The Back To School CommUNITY Resource Fair will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 30 at East Orange City Hall, 44 City Hall Plaza.

According to a social media post from the city, the event will include a bookbag giveaway, free haircuts, bouncy houses, food trucks, a DJ, a gaming truck and career resources. For more information, call 973-266-5151.
