Crash Lodges Car in Between Pole and Building

West Orange police and fire departments responded to a late-afternoon accident Wednesday on a side street near the CVS on South Valley Road in West Orange in which a car overturned, officials said.

The accident happened around 5:45 p.m. on Nassau Street lodging a black Ford Crown Victoria in between a pole and the CVS.

The car appeared to be totalled as it was pulled onto tow truck upside down. It is still unknown how the crashed occurred.

Essex County Sheriff's Department officials provided assistance and EMS were on scene.
