Patch: What attracted you to the line of work you’re in, and how did you get started?
Brandon Mersky: I've always had a deep love for animals, especially dogs, and I wanted a career where I could combine that passion with my skills in management and customer service. Working in a dog daycare allows me to contribute to a positive environment where pets are safe, happy, and well cared for. I was drawn to the opportunity to lead a team that shares that same dedication while also building strong relationships with our clients and their dogs. It's incredibly rewarding to be part of a business that brings peace of mind to pet owners and joy to their pets every day.

Patch: What's the most common piece of advice you give to customers?
Brandon Mersky: The most common advice I give is to be consistent with their dog’s routine and socialization. Dogs thrive on structure, and regular daycare visits can really help with behavior, confidence, and overall well-being. I also remind customers that every dog is different—what works for one may not work for another—so it’s important to be patient and communicate openly with our team so we can tailor care to each dog’s needs.
Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?
Brandon Mersky: The most satisfying part of my job is seeing the positive impact we make on both dogs and their owners. Watching a nervous or shy dog grow more confident and playful over time is incredibly rewarding. It’s also fulfilling to know that we’re giving pet parents peace of mind by providing a safe, loving environment for their dogs. Leading a passionate team and seeing how much they care about each dog really makes every day meaningful.
Patch: How would you say your business or organization distinguishes itself from the others?
Brandon Mersky: What sets us apart is the level of personalized care we give to each dog. We take the time to get to know every dog’s personality, preferences, and needs, so they’re not just another number—they’re truly part of our pack. Our team is highly trained, genuinely passionate about animals, and committed to creating a safe, enriching environment. We also maintain strong communication with pet parents, keeping them informed and involved, which builds real trust and long-term relationships.
