Fatal Car Crash Claims 2 Lives In West Orange, Authorities Say
The victims included the driver of the car and a passenger, West Orange authorities said.
WEST ORANGE, NJ — A fatal car crash claimed two lives in West Orange on Tuesday morning, authorities said.
According to a township spokesperson, the single-vehicle crash took place at 8:17 a.m. on the 100-block of Northfield Avenue.
The victims included the driver of the car and a passenger, authorities said.

The names of the deceased weren’t released as of Tuesday, pending notification of the victims’ next of kin. A police investigation continues, authorities said.
The section of Northfield Avenue where the crash took place has been reopened to traffic, authorities added.
