Local Justice: Decisions in Municipal Court
The West Orange Municipal Court handled these three criminal matters, including two cases of shoplifting (one by a repeat offender).

In State v. Danielle Croom, of Bellemead, the State charged defendant with shoplifting from Shop Rite on February 18th. After a trial, defendant was found guilty of the charge. The Court sentenced defendant to 180 days in jail.
In State v. Cedric Honeyblue, of Orange, the State charged defendant with shoplifting from CVS on May 24th. Defendant pleaded guilty to the offense. The Court imposed fines and costs totaling $258.
In State v. Wise Suggs, of West Orange, the State charged defendant with disorderly conduct on May 16th. As part of a plea agreement, defendant pleaded guilty to a lesser offense of violating a township ordinance and the original charge was dismissed. The Court imposed fines and costs totaling $233.
