Memorial Day Ceremonies Set in West Orange

West Orange Township and the West Orange High School Mountaineer Squadron Air Force Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) invited residents to the township’s Memorial Day Observance.

The 2015 Memorial Day observance begins at 10 a.m. at the West Orange Township Hall, located at 66 Main St. The observance will include a number of organizations from West Orange and featured events.

Included in the ceremony will be the West Orange High School Mountaineer Squadron Air Force Junior ROTC, a 21-gun salute by the West Orange Police Department, West Orange Fire Department Color Guard, and vocalist Lynette Sheard and town historian Joseph Fagan will be present.

After cooler temperatures at the beginning of the holiday weekend, temperatures should have warmed up by Monday. The high temperature on Monday is expected to be near 77 degrees. Monday night is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 62 and a 30 percent chance of precipitation.
