NJ American Water, PSEG Will Do Work In West Orange

Crews from PSE&G and New Jersey American Water will be in West Orange on Monday to carry out two separate work details.

WEST ORANGE, NJ — Crews from PSE&G and New Jersey American Water will be in West Orange on Monday to carry out two separate work details.

New Jersey American Water employees will be performing “routine maintenance” on Lincoln Avenue, according to a municipal advisory.

Meanwhile, subcontractors with PSE&G will be replacing gas mains and gas services over a two-week period beginning on Monday. Work is scheduled for Gregory Avenue between Northfield Avenue and Mt Pleasant Avenue on Feb. 26, 27, 28 and 29, and March 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.

According to township officials:

“Traffic delays may occur and access to certain streets may be limited. The West Orange Police Department will be on scene to direct traffic and to work with residents to gain access to homes. The schedule may be subject to change depending on the weather. Thanks in advance for everyone’s patience during this temporary inconvenience.”
