West Orange police have arrested a suspect believed to be involved in a strong-armed robbery at Jerry's Artist Outlet in Essex Green Shopping Center Wednesday, officials said. According to police, the suspect stole a few hundred dollars worth of art supplies, using force to exit the store at around 12:24 p.m. on April 3. A UPS driver in the parking lot described the suspect's car to police who stopped him before he entered Route 280 in West Orange, police said. West Orange police have not released any information on the alleged robber and the incident is still under investigation.  The alleged theft occurred just three days after a West Orange man was robbed of his car at gunpoint in the parking lot of the same shopping center.
