Police: Suspicious Man at Bus Stop for Five Days

Officials investigating reported enticement of an 11-year-old girl at the corner of Kinsley Street and Riggs Place.

West Orange police are investigating a suspicious man who has been waiting at a bus stop and reportedly attempting to entice an 11-year-old girl on the corner of Kinsley Street and Riggs Place in the township for five days.

According to police, the man has been standing on Valley Road gesturing for the middle school student to come over to him when she was let off the bus.

He reportedly would tell the girl he has something to show her, police said.

Police described the Hispanic man as approximately 5-feet-6 tall, 30 to 40 years old with curly hair.  

According to the middle school, the parents of the student were contacted and additional officers have been posted in the area.
