West Orange HS Students Can Earn Credits With Fairleigh Dickinson
Spanish 4 students at West Orange High School can earn college credits through a dual enrollment program with FDU.
WEST ORANGE, NJ — West Orange High School is offering Spanish 4 students the opportunity to earn college credits through a dual enrollment program with Fairleigh Dickinson University, administrators recently announced.
“West Orange High School has aligned our Spanish 4 curriculum with FDU's college courses,” World Languages Supervisor Felix Plata said.
“In addition, Latin club students who are enrolled in the High School’s Spanish 4 course will have the opportunity to earn college credits through our recent partnership with The Empathy Equality Entrepreneurship Mission (TEEEM),” Plata continued.

Students will develop their Spanish language proficiency through curriculum projects and learning outcomes, making them eligible to receive up to six college credits through the High School’s Dual enrollment program partnership with FDU, he said.
“We are proud of our team and the opportunities we offer our students,” Plata concluded.
