Patch and T-Mobile are partnering to shine a light on awesome moms in the West Orange area. Meet Richera Jones!
WEST ORANGE, NJ— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!
Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?
My mom is so loving and caring to everyone. My baby sister has Down Syndrome, so it is hard for Mom to work with all her doctor's appointments, so she started her own business to always be there for us. My mom also volunteers with an organization here that helps other moms of special children like my sister! My mom is so strong and super. I am 10, and my mom is amazing.
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
My mom deserves the spotlight because she is always sharing what programs are in our community to help everyone else.
