West Orange Teachers Need School Supplies, Here’s How To Help Them 'Clear The List'

The district is bringing back its annual "Clear The List" campaign. Here's how you can help to lift up a hardworking educator.

WEST ORANGE, NJ — The West Orange Public Schools District has launched its fourth annual “Clear The List” campaign to help stock classrooms with essential supplies for the 2025–26 school year.

This year’s campaign already features 100 Amazon wish lists from educators across all grade levels – with more to be added in the days ahead. Items range from necessities like pencils and notebooks to innovative tools that enhance “creativity, engagement and learning.”

Over the past several years, the generosity of West Orange residents has helped clear more than 500 wish lists. With financial burdens and budget challenges impacting schools more than ever, district leaders hope this year’s effort will have an even greater impact.

“Our staff give so much of themselves to create enriching learning environments, often spending their own money to make sure their students have what they need,” West Orange School Superintendent Hayden Moore said.
