2 Woodbridge Gas Stations Robbed Minutes Apart, State Police Say
A Shell and Exxon gas station were robbed at gunpoint separately within minutes of each other, state police said.
WOODBRIDGE, NJ - Two gas stations in Woodbridge were robbed within minutes of each other early Friday morning, authorities said.
State troopers responded to the armed robberies on the Garden State Parkway northbound and southbound Colonia Service Areas at around 12:44 a.m., a spokesperson for the New Jersey State Police told Patch.
Based on an initial investigation, the Shell and Exxon gas stations were robbed at gunpoint separately within minutes by four unknown suspects in a black Mercedes Benz, state police said.

The unknown suspects demanded cash and then fled the scene in the Mercedes Benz, state police said.
No injuries were reported. Both incidents remain under investigation.
