Annie Lennox Will Be At Carteret Arts Center In October

Lennox will be interviewed by V (formerly Eve Ensler), author of "The Vagina Monologues," for an evening of conversation.

CARTERET, NJ — Legendary singer, songwriter and global feminist activist Annie Lennox will be at the Carteret Performing Arts and Events Center Oct. 11.

Lennox will be interviewed by V (formerly Eve Ensler), the Obie Award-winning playwright and author of "The Vagina Monologues," for an evening that's billed as "Annie Lennox — In Conversation."

Lennox will share her personal stories. Promoters say it promises to be "an unforgettable evening of stories, inspiration and impact." Tickets start at $97.

"Annie Lennox: Retrospective," which was made in close collaboration with Lennox herself, is now out. The book has more than 200 images, some created by celebrated photographers such as Richard Avedon, Paolo Roversi, Bettina Rheims and Ellen von Unwerth, interspersed with song lyrics and personal anecdotes about Lennox’s life as a songwriter.
