Here's what you need to know today, Aug. 8:
Boscov’s Grand Opening: The festivities begin tonight with a charity gala followed by a soft opening on Friday and the official ribbon cutting on Saturday. Boscov’s is a family-owned department store that is taking over the formerly empty location that was once Fortunoff’s in Woodbridge Center. Check back for a full look inside the store at the end-of-the-week.

Movie Night: Bring a blanket and some snacks for the screening of The Wizard of Oz. Tickets will given out at 6:30 p.m. at the main branch of the Woodbridge Public Library.
Middlesex County Fair: The annual Middlesex County fair kicked off Monday and will run for a week straight. The fair features rides, live entertainment, food, games, pig races, arts and crafts and plenty more activities for the whole family.
