Colonia Men Sold Vapes To Minors At Convenience Store, Police Say
The store's owner and an employee were arrested and charged on Thursday following a multi-agency investigation, police said.
HOLMDEL, NJ - A Holmdel convenience store owner and employee were charged this week after allegedly selling electronic smoking devices to those under 21.
The owner of Bell Works’ Your Convenience Navin Vira and store employee Leviths John Debritto, both of Colonia, were arrested and charged on Thursday with underage sale of electronic smoking devices, police said.
The charges stem from “numerous complaints” from parents in town that the convenience store was selling vapes to minors, which prompted an investigation into the storefront, police said.
