Driver Sought In Fatal Pedestrian Hit-And-Run In Rahway: Police
Authorities are searching for the driver involved in a fatal pedestrian hit-and-run that took place in Rahway early Monday morning.
RAHWAY, NJ - Authorities are searching for the driver involved in a fatal pedestrian hit-and-run in Rahway on Monday.
A dark-colored sedan struck a pedestrian at the intersection of St. George’s Avenue and W. Inman Avenue sound 2:59 a.m., Rahway police said. The vehicle then fled southbound heading towards Woodbridge.
Responding officers provided medical aid to the victim who was later pronounced dead at the scene, Rahway police said.

The vehicle in question is believed to be a Nissan with tinted windows, damage to the front driver’s side bumper and a broken front driver’s side window, police said.
The crash remains under investigation by the Rahway Police Department Traffic Bureau.
