Go to Woodbridge's Free Health Day on Saturday

Lots of free stuff and activities for the kids at a health event near the Health Center on April 13.


The Woodbridge Dept. of Health & Human Services is running a Public Health Day event at the Woodbridge Health Center, next to the Main Library. If you're in the market for free screening and wellness events, you will have come to the right place. 

The event runs from 10 am to 1 pm on Saturday, April 13.

Some of the demonstrations and screenings on tap, aside from health and Wellness info and screenings, include:

  • A healthy cooking demonstration sponsored by Wegmans;
  • Free healthy eating tips and snacks offered by Cabot;
  • A free "Fun Bus" for kids and parents from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm;
  • A Bounce House from 10 am to 1 pm;
  • Other free giveaways and activities

A T-dap vaccine - that's a preventative for diptheria, tetanus, and pertussis, otherwise known as whooping cough - is also being offered for those from ages 19 to 64. The fee is $30.
