The Girl Scouts participated in the town-wide Park Clean up on Public Lands Day to help keep the community beautiful. Together, the girls made a much-needed food donation to St. Cecelia’s Food Pantry, via the St. Vincent DePaul Society. After learning of the great need for baby food donations, they collected and made donations of different baby food items to the Inspire Family Life Center. In the winter, the Scouts made greeting cards to send to a rehabilitation facility, sending thoughts of encouragement. The scouts collected monetary donations to purchase Girl Scout cookies, which were donated to the St. Cecelia's Church Food Bank and Ronald McDonald House. The girls also brought smiles to the families staying at the Ronald McDonald house in New Brunswick by creating thoughtful goodie bags for the children.
