WOODBRIDGE, NJ — There was an ICE raid Wednesday at a work site in the Avenel section of Woodbridge, said local lawmakers.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers combed the work site. CBS New York reports it was the Savino Del Bene warehouse on Englehard Avenue, and that dozens of people were detained by ICE. Photos show people handcuffed being led in to ICE vans.

Amanda Dominguez of the worker activist group New Labor told CBS that 30 to 50 workers were taken, including several women who have children they were supposed to pick up after school.
