Man Hit By Car On Rt. 1 Ramp In Woodbridge
Woodbridge Police received a 911 call of a pedestrian hit by a car and found a 2016 Ford Fusion stopped and a pedestrian lying in the road.
WOODBRIDGE, NJ — A man was hit by a car late Saturday night on a Rt. 1 north ramp in Woodbridge, said Woodbridge Chief Law Enforcement Officer Brian Murphy.
The man was hit at 2:30 a.m. Sunday on the ramp from Rt. 1 north to Saint Georges Avenue. Woodbridge Police received a 911 call of a pedestrian hit by a car. When police got there, they found a 2016 Ford Fusion stopped, and a pedestrian lying in the roadway.
Police say the Ford Fusion was exiting from Rt. 1 north onto Saint Georges Avenue southbound when the struck the pedestrian who was crossing the ramp.

The man was taken to a hospital and is currently in stable condition, said Murphy.
