Paul Lund, old enough to know better, town council

What is your occupation?

High school science teacher.

Have you ever run for elected office before? Please list all races and their outcomes, and now long you held past elected office.

I've run before, I remain untainted.

What are your accomplishments that would make you a good Woodbridge Council representative?

35 years married this December; never compromised by politics.

Why should voters vote for you?

Vote for me if you think one-party rule has gone on long enough (since 1992).

Please give 1-2 examples of how you think the current Woodbridge Council has failed residents.

With the machine politics and the Mayor who "owns everything" that we have in Woodbridge, my local Ward Councilman and a nice guy who works for a fossil fuel company, has no choice but to sign a letter endorsing a green energy scheme to help prop up the solar industry on the promise of future savings.

The Mayor still stands by the claim that Woodbridge is the "best town around" even though after 20 years of overdevelopment and suburban sprawl, it doesn't feel like one.

What's your favorite part about living in Woodbridge?

Favorite things — walking the Greenway from Hopelawn to Metuchen and easy access to every major road out of Woodbridge.
