As an individual who left high school early, obtained a GED, attended trade school for industrial pipe fitting and then pursued undergraduate studies in business and real estate, I have a profound appreciation for the value of a good education, and for the educators who gave me mine, in both public and parochial schools.

From my early blue-collar jobs, I worked my way into senior management positions both domestic and international with two major engineering and construction corporations. I specialized in domestic and international procurement, contracts, logistics, long-range planning and business development.

In Woodbridge, I have served as a community activist on matters related to community planning and development, schooling, government policy and spending. A career in business opened the door to international travel, which, in turn, allowed me to hone an ability to work effectively negotiate with people from different cultures and customs.

As a member of the Woodbridge Township Board of Education, I would use my business, life experiences, and communication skills to work with other board members, educators and parents to achieve the best possible educational outcome for all students in the district.

Today, more than ever, I believe that the road to recovery from the devastating learning loss and emotional assault students have suffered and continue to suffer from the extended lockdowns will require more than a business-as-usual approach. This historic educational crisis is also an historic opportunity for people of good faith, outside the political inner circle, to stand up and be heard directly, or indirectly, through an advocate that listens to and stands up for the people. I intend to be that advocate.

Through Early Voting beginning Saturday, October 28 to Election Day, Tuesday November 7, vote for me, vote for the “Education, Not Indoctrination” ticket.
