Menlo Park Terrace School No. 19 Hosts Field Day

Despite cicadas swarming the playground, students of School No. 19 in the Menlo Park Terrace section of Woodbridge enjoyed their field day activities on Wednesday.

Menlo Park Terrace students read 36,197 books this school year. In the beginning of the school year, students were told if they reached the reading goal they would be able to throw pies at their Principal Dr. Samuel Fancera on field day.

On Wednesday, students lined up trying to hit Fancera with the pies. 

They also participated in other field day activities such as playing in the bouncy house and creating crafts. Huskies also enjoyed their new playground installed earlier this year.  

Teachers, staff, PTO and parent volunteers contributed to make the day a success.
