Read to a Therapy Dog, Veterans Day Observance Tuesday in Woodbridge

1. Grade school-age children who need practice with their reading skills are invited to the main branch of the Woodbridge Public Library at 7 p.m. today, Tuesday, Nov. 12 to read to a therapy dog. Registration is required. 

2. Middlesex County College will observe Veterans Day at 10:45 a.m. today with a program featuring speakers George Lisicki, former national commander of the VFW and Mike Miller, Army veteran and motivational speaker. A free screening of the movie "Restrepo" will follow at 12:15 p.m. The event will be held in the main lounge of the campus college center. Middlesex County College is located at 2600 Woodbridge Ave., Edison.
