SAYREVILLE, NJ — At 5:54 a.m. Wednesday, there was a serious crash on the bridge that carries Rt. 9 over Raritan Bay in between Sayreville and Woodbridge.
The crash occurred in the Rt. 9 north lanes. All lanes north were closed.
This is the Edison Bridge, which carries Rt. 9 over Raritan Bay. It runs parallel to the Driscoll Bridge, which carries the Parkway north and south over the Raritan River/Raritan Bay.
