Storm Knocks Out Power To 1,500 In Woodbridge Twp.

1,464​ customers just lost power​, all in the area of Woodbridge proper, according to PSE&G. Restoration time is 7:30 p.m.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — The fast-moving storm that just came through New Jersey knocked out electricity to nearly 1,500 residents in Woodbridge, PSE&G reported just now.

1,464 customers are currently without power, said PSE&G on their outage map, all in the area of Woodbridge proper.

The estimated restoration time is 7:30 p.m. Friday.

14,000 lost power in Morris County Friday afternoon due to the storm. Howell saw heavy rain, hail, winds Friday afternoon. JCP&L is working on "pockets" of outages throughout Monmouth County.

There are unconfirmed reports the storm did some damage in Howell Township, bringing down trees and power lines. Big stretches of Howell Township also lost power, as winds up to 60 mph and hail were predicted. There was even an entrapment reported in a car from a downed tree. As the storm moves south, a severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for South Jersey until 4:30 p.m. with a flash flood warning until 7:30 p.m.
