How do you know the teacher?

She is my mom

What does this person teach?

Gifted & Talented Art

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

My mom is very nice. She makes art so fun for kids. She makes sure every student does their best work. She will push them to do better and better and they feel so proud. My mom is always learning new art at home and shows me and my sister. She even comes to my class for my birthday every year and will teach my class art a project instead of eating lunch that day. She always helps my art teacher hang my school’s artwork for our art show. She said she likes to help because she knows it is a lot of work.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

Whenever we go somewhere my mom always sees students and they always say hi.
