Saturday is National Public Lands Day at the Ernie Oros Wildlife Preserve on Omar Avenue in Avenel. Come help clean up from 9:00 a.m. - noon and the annual fall Colonia Cleanup is from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Shaughnessy Park, also Saturday.

Walk-Out on Drugs event at Parker Press Park sponsored by the New Jersey Elks at 12:30 pm

Halfway to St. Patrick’s Community Appreciation Day sponsored by the American Irish Association of Woodbridge from 1:00 to 5:00 pm at the Acacia Center.

Tuesday the Barron Arts Center has a lecture on Pop Art at 1:00 pm and the Main Library has a watercolor art session featuring local artist Komal Mehra at 6:00 pm.

The Woodbridge community Health Fair is next Saturday, Oct. 4 at the Health Center outdoors from 9:00 am to Noon and you can drop off gently used Halloween costumes at Town Hall, the Main Library or any Youth Center until next Saturday.
