Woodbridge Chamber Dinner, Flu Clinic, Taste of Woodbridge This Week in Town

1. Adults who need a little extra help with using a computer mouse can come to the Woodbridge Public Library's main location for a class from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15 in mouse basics. Registration is $5. 

2. The Woodbridge Chamber will host its 49th Chairman's Awards Dinner at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16 at Renaissance Woodbridge Hotel. 

3. The Woodbridge Township Department of Health & Human Affairs will host a flu shot clinic for children from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18 at the township health department building, located at 2 George Frederick Plaza, Woodbridge. Flu shots are $15 each.

4. Grab a fork: The Taste of Woodbridge returns from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18 at the Woodbridge Community Center. Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the door. 

5. New Jersey Romance Writers will hold a book fair from 4-5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 at Renaissance Woodbridge Hotel. A number of authors will be on hand to sign books. 

6. Seniors are invited to a free Wellness Day from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 at the Woodbridge health department building, 2 George Frederick Plaza. Woodbridge physician Dr. Robert Boyd will perform free health screenings.
